Follow the path of pharaohs as you cruise from Luxor to Aswan. This 5-day journey offers an unforgettable dive into Egypt’s ancient legacy. Begin in Luxor with two full days of exploration, then glide south along the Nile through majestic temples and riverside wonders. Each day brings you closer to the soul of Egypt, from the tomb of Tutankhamun to the tranquil beauty of Philae Temple.

We’ll meet you at your hotel in Luxor and escort you to the cruise ship for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Luxor’s East Bank:

  1. Karnak Temple
Spanning over 247 acres, Karnak is the largest religious complex in the world. Dedicated to Amon-Re, it’s a powerful symbol of New Kingdom devotion and architectural mastery.

  2. Luxor Temple
Linked to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor Temple glows with history. Built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, it remains one of the Nile’s most atmospheric sites.

Return to your cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, cross the Nile to the ancient necropolis:

  1. Valley of the Kings
Explore the hidden tombs of Egypt’s legendary rulers. Visit Tutankhamun’s burial chamber to see his mummy, as well as the richly decorated tombs of Ramses VI and Seti I.

  2. Temple of Hatshepsut
Carved into the cliffs, this temple honors one of Egypt’s most remarkable rulers — the powerful Queen-King Hatshepsut.

  3. Colossi of Memnon
Stop for photos beside these two massive statues, guardians of Theban lands for over 3,000 years.

Return to the cruise for lunch and a relaxing sail.

  1. Temple of Horus at Edfu
Ride a traditional horse carriage to the best-preserved temple in Egypt. Built in the Ptolemaic period, Edfu honors the falcon god Horus and features vivid battle scenes with his rival Seth.

  2. Kom Ombo Temple
Visit this twin temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Her Wer, the falcon god. Stop at the nearby Crocodile Mummification Museum before continuing your journey to Aswan.

  3.
  1. Philae Temple
A serene island sanctuary for the goddess Isis. Rescued from the floodwaters by UNESCO, Philae marks the spiritual closing chapter of ancient Egyptian religion.

  2. Unfinished Obelisk
See where the largest obelisk ever attempted still rests in its quarry, revealing the techniques and ambition of ancient stonemasons.

Return to the cruise for your final evening on the Nile.

After breakfast and check-out, we will escort you to your requested drop-off point in Aswan.
