We will pick you up from your accommodation to begin your food walking tour in Cairo’s downtown area.

By booking this tour, you will enjoy a private spiritual evening at old Islamic district to explore the Dervish (Tanoura) and Zaar night. We will  start by briefing: “Sacred Movement in Egyptian Heritage: From Zaar to Tanoura” . We start first with Introduction to Zaar: a traditional healing ritual with ancient roots. Traditional instruments like tambourines and drums. Enjoy Call-and-response chants used to drive out negative energy

 Then, we proceed to Tanoura Dance Show at Wekalet El-Ghouri and attend the mesmerizing Tanoura (Whirling Dervish) performance. We will Learn about the Sufi symbolism behind the spinning and their Connection to the divine

Moreover, we will have the chance to know more about the use of colors and sacred geometry in the costumes

After enjoying Cairo’s culinary delights, we will escort you back to your accommodation.
