Start your day at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. See thousands of artifacts, including royal mummies and treasures from different eras, from prehistoric times to the Graeco-Roman period. The museum building itself is an impressive architectural landmark from the early 1900s.
Islamic Cairo
After a very shorts drive, we arrive to the next stop which is the mistakenly named, Pompey’s Pillar which is the biggest monolithic granite pillar in the whole world.

Stroll along El Muizz Street, home to the largest open-air collection of Islamic monuments. Then explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar’s busy alleyways, full of shops selling souvenirs, spices, jewelry, and more.
