Step into the heart of ancient Egypt on a journey to Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshur. Walk through Memphis, Egypt’s oldest capital, and stand beside the giant statue of Ramses II. Visit Saqqara’s Step Pyramid, the first stone structure ever built. Finally, explore Dahshur to see the famous Bent and Red Pyramids, both open to enter. This tour is perfect for history lovers who want to see the true roots of Egyptian civilization beyond the Giza Pyramids.

Your Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your accommodation location.

Start at the open-air museum in Memphis, the oldest capital of ancient Egypt. Stand beside the impressive statue of King Ramses II and see many important artifacts from this historic site.

After a short drive, arrive at Dahshur to explore two unique pyramids built by King Sneferu, father of Cheops. See the Bent Pyramid, famous for its unusual shape, and the massive Red Pyramid with its reddish stones. Both pyramids are open for visitors to enter.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the final site.

Next, visit Saqqara to admire the Step Pyramid, the first freestanding stone structure ever built. Your guide will also show you nearby tombs with beautiful wall carvings that show daily life scenes from ancient times.

By the end of the day, we will drive you back to your accommodation.

Yes, Egypt is considered a safe and welcoming destination. Tourism is a key part of the local economy, and travelers are warmly received. As with any international trip, stay updated on current events and follow local guidance.

The most pleasant months are from September to May, when temperatures are milder and ideal for sightseeing, Nile cruises, desert adventures, and beach getaways.

Bring a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity), light clothing for warm days, warmer layers for cooler nights (especially in winter), sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, a universal adapter, and some cash for small purchases.

Egyptians are used to visitors from all over the world. Modest clothing is recommended, especially at religious sites. Women may prefer to cover shoulders and knees. Men can wear shorts, but longer trousers are better in mosques and traditional areas out of respect.

Yes, most nationalities require a visa. Many tourists can apply online (e-Visa) or get it on arrival at the airport. We’re happy to help guide you through the process.

We recommend drinking bottled water instead of tap water. Bottled water is widely available and affordable. During your tours with us, we provide unlimited bottled water for your comfort.
